October 17, 2007 - Zombie Town now available for pre-order.

The North American release date for Zombie Town, November 20th, is rapidly approaching. This being the case, the film is now available for pre-order through a large number of American on-line retailers. Among the sites now selling the DVD are www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, www.bestbuy.com, www.suncoast.com, and www.fye.com. Those wishing to have Zombie Town shipped to them immediately upon its release, can buy it now through these and other internet retailers. While we are still a month away from release, on-line rental sites such as Netflix and Blockbuster also have the title listed for those who want to add it to their queue now.

 

October 12, 2007 - Zombie Town receives new cover art

MTI Home Video has just released it's new artwork for Zombie Town. The film, which will be released in the US on November 20th, will not go out with the cover now familiar on this site and in some foreign territories. The new cover can currently be seen on our homepage here at www.zapatosfilms.com or over at our partner's site, www.edgewoodstudios.com.

 

July 25, 2007 - US Release Date Announced: November 20th

It's Official! MTI Home Video has settled on a release date for Zombie Town. The film has been out in a number of foreign territories for months but has, thus far, been unavailable here in America. This finally comes to an end on November 20, 2007, when the film will get its US release. It will be available for both sale and rental through Blockbuster, Netflix, and most other major retailers, so mark your calendar!

 

March 23, 2007 - Zombies invade New Zealand

Force Entertainment has recently informed us that the next country to see the release of Zombie Town will be New Zealand. Starting April 4th, Kiwis will be able to rent the movie throughout the land. For those who want to be first in line, the film is already available for pre-order through sites such as www.dvdunlimited.co.nz and www. moviewshack.co.nz. Enjoy the film.

 

January 5, 2007 - US Release for Zombie Town

Zapatos Para Todos is excited to announce that a US distribution deal for "Zombie Town" has been made! While the film has been sold in a variety of other countries, and is now out in Australia, Zapatos has been eager to find the film a home here in America. A new deal with MTI Home Video is now making that a reality. A summertime release is expected, although a specific date has not yet been set. As soon as a firm date is approved, however, we'll have it posted here on zapatosfilms.com. In anticipation of the US release, Zapatos Para Todos will be bringing the film to a few select festivals in order to give impatient fans a sneak peak at the film. Keep an eye our here for the "Zombie Town" festival schedule as it develops.

 

December 6, 2006 - Zombies Down Under

Zapatos Para Todos is proud to announce the release of "Zombie Town" in Australia. While distributors in a number of countries have inked deals to bring "Zombie Town" to their fine citizens, the Australian company Force Entertainment got the jump on all of them with the December release on DVD. The film is now available for rental through on-line rental services such as www.bigpondmovies.com.au, www.videoezy.com.au, www.quickflix.com.au as well as through video stores throughout the country. So far, we have been delighted by the great reception the film has gotten down under and are eager to see its audience expanded as the movie becomes available throughout the globe. While currently available just for rental, "Zombie Town" will be available for sale in Australia starting March 14th.

 

November 11, 2006 - Zombies attack AFM

The American Film Market has just shut its gates and we at Zapatos Para Todos are very excited by the reception received by "Zombie Town" at the market. Through our partnership with Artist View Entertainment, we have been able to land deals for distribution in markets throughout Europe. Among the countries which will soon be seeing "Zombie Town" on their video store shelves are England, Ireland, Germany, Austria and even tiny Luxembourg. Farther afield, we have also landed deals in Vietnam and Thailand. We are, of course, excited to know that the film will soon be finding audiences throughout the globe.

 

September 20, 2006 - Post Production Complete

Following the completion of our color correction sessions at City Lights Media in New York City it can now be said that "Zombie Town" is officially finished with the post production process and ready for the marketplace. Having spent just over a year in post following the end of principle photography in the spring of 2005, we are understandably excited to see the film completed and eager to see "Zombie Town" get its shot with audiences. Having just seen the final product of all our hard work we are immensely proud of the film in front of us and grateful to all of the people who have worked so hard to make the film a reality over the past year and a half.

 

July 16, 2006 - Rough cut of "Zombie Town" Screened in Rutland, VT

Following three months of intensive editing, Zapatos Para Todos screened the first rough cut of "Zombie Town" yesterday for a collection of investors, crew members, and local film enthusiasts. While a great deal of work remains to be done on the film, initial reactions were favorable and gratifying. With much polish work yet to be done and several key effects sequences still to be completed, the film nonetheless garnered reviews such as "gloriously over the top," and "the goriest thing I think I've seen" from an enthusiastic audience. Producer Mary Beth French commented, "who knew shooting grandmothers could be such fun." With the invaluable input from this first screening, director Damon LeMay and producer Zorinah Juan head back into the editing room to fine tune the project. They hope to have a finished film sometime this fall.
